DOG POLICY
We welcome well-behaved, sociable dogs at Mountain View Lodge (Woodford Escape). However, to ensure we are able to continue to extend this welcome to you and future guests, we would ask you to please be aware of the following:
- We do not permit dangerous dogs and reserve the right to refuse any dog, be it prior to, or after arrival.
- We reserve the right to limit the number of dogs staying at any one time.
- The responsibility for any personal injury or damage caused by dogs whilst holidaying on our property remains with you the owner, who must agree to pay for claims or costs related to the dog’s activities.
- Dogs are NOT allowed inside, but may be crated at night in the garages next to your accommodation.
- Dogs are not to be left unattended (we are not a substitute for a kennel). Dogs can become anxious when left in a strange environment, which can lead to barking, and/or damage/accidents occurring.
- Dogs must be kept on a lead in the area around your accommodation and when walking past our home.
- There are designated paddocks (with dams) where dogs are welcome to run off lead, and swim in the dams, but they must be under effective voice control.
- Dogs are not allowed in paddocks where there are stock, both for the safety of dogs and stock.
- You are required to pick up your dog droppings at all times.
- We require to sight current vaccination certificates.
- Please bring your own dog bedding, crates, food and towels for drying your dogs.
- A hydrobath and drying service is available if required.
PLEASE NOTE: We are in a paralysis tick area and recommend you use Advantix on your dogs when visiting.
